Debbie M Garratt FNP-C ABAAHP Family Practice is an integrative medicine practice for patients of all ages. Combining greater than three decades of science based allopathic medicine with a functional and integrative approach. The staff has adhered to the phrase created by Aristotle and accentuated by Nursing Theorist Martha Rogers “The whole is More than the Sum of its Parts”. Complete wellness is achieved only with positive connection of the mind, body and spirit. In summarizing many definitions, this approach puts the patient at the center and addresses the complete spectrum of the physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual and environmental influences that affect a person’s health. Through science and evidenced based practice, advancements in western medicine have contributed greatly to quality and longevity of human life throughout the last two centuries. The Art of medicine is individualizing the science to best meet the patients needs. After a thorough evaluation, the urgent need is addressed and treated followed by a deeper investigation to the root cause of the dis-ease.
